NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

Buzz Boy had been hurdling before coming here last week and finishing runner-up in a Class 6 handicap over 1m5f. He'll appreciate the extra yardage though this looks slightly tougher. STONEHAM is on her highest ever mark but her overall form entitles her to the greatest respect and Lewis Edmunds, who rode her to her latest victory at Newcastle, can use his claim to good effect. Her new stable companion Vercingetorix was racing in better company than this last summer so a change of yards could bring about a revival while yet another from the yard, La Bacouetteuse, has managed to win 11 times in a long career including his final start last summer. Esspeegee has shown a bit of potential but remains a maiden.
