    Verdict

    Tanasoq, successful at Newcastle nine days ago, is preferred to Pavers Pride of the two previous course and distance winners though the booking of Simon Walker for the latter is an obvious plus. ALSVINDER was beaten a couple of lengths by Hard Solution at Hamilton last month but is 5lb better off and David O’Meara’s charge has been beaten twice since - the placings may be reversed on this easier track. Lord Of The Glen did win at Musselburgh in May but that was on soft going and he’s 0-6 here.
