MISTER MARKER ran well in defeat last time out and he can land a deserved victory here at the main expense of Mage D'Estruval. Nicky Richards' gelding ran a cracker at Newcastle when second to Dukeofchesterwood and whilst that was not a great race, it was still an admirable run. The first two were well-clear and despite a harsh-looking 8lb rise in the weights he is taken to run well. Delightfully steps back up in trip and he is proven on a soft surface, Mage D'Estruval could be nicely-handicapped as he returns to hurdles on this second start for the yard, whilst Bring It On Home has some solid form to his name but he has stamina for this new trip to prove especially off top-weight. Any market support for Fane Oscar would have to be treated with respect, whilst Treasured Memories and Miss Tarantella both make their seasonal reappearance this afternoon. Polobury is yet to win in 20 starts, whilst Neidpath Castle returns to hurdles as well but he doesn't look amazingly well-treated. Not an easy race for punters to assess, however we will stick with Mister Marker.
