Voix Du Reve has more to do than when beating three rivals at Newcastle and the novices Kihavah and Socialist Agenda look up against it racing from out of the handicap, though the latter did beat Anna Bunina six lengths at Musselburgh. John McConnell’s mare was second in this last year, however, behind Milkwood, who is 8lb higher. West Cork won the Grade 3 Greatwood at Cheltenham in November and was fourth in last month’s County Hurdle but, in between, he was more than 13 lengths behind ONEMOREFORTHEROAD (NAP) at Ascot and is a pound worse off. Neil King’s charge, who rattled up a hat-trick earlier in the season, has since run well up to form when fourth in the Imperial Cup at Sandown so looks the one to beat, though Barrichello’s win in a Warwick handicap in January has worked out well. Alqamar is having a first run since October.
