KING OF FASHION was beaten a long way in his first three starts, two in bumpers, but showed massive improvement when tackling this trip for the first time on this track and chasing home the odds-on Progress Drive. The expected further progress can enable him to go one better. Strong Economy has had all three of his runs under Rules over the minimum trip on this track and showed his first sign of ability last time. The longer trip will be to his liking while winning point-to-pointer Pinch Of Ginger will have found a Bangor bumper an insufficient test of stamina last month and this should suit. Durbanville made too many mistakes on his introduction at Newcastle but should improve for the experience and he holds Dr West on that run. The Wise One won a point at Dawstown in May and went for £25,000 at the sales a couple of weeks later.
