In depth

Verdict

Mutadaffeq has just gone off the boil since his early-season double while Spinners Ball is creeping up the weights. Barwick isn’t getting any younger so it may pay to concentrate on the three-year-olds with Royal Associate open to improvement after making a winning debut and Dark Pearl apparently improving with experience. ATKINSON GRIMSHAW also has a progressive profile and the step back up in trip will suit after he got outpaced over 1m2f at Newmarket. Rydan rarely runs a bad race and could sneak into a place again if the pace is strong enough.
