Prince Sabaah, Polish Red and Chord make most appeal in this handicap and preference is for Prince Sabaah. The selection has his ideal conditions today and he did put in an improved effort on ground that was faster than ideal last time when chasing home Pipedreamer. He remains unexposed and with this step-up in trip in his favour he looks the one to beat. Polish Red arrives here in sparkling form and he certainly looks progressive on the evidence of his most recent winning effort when he beat Prince Nureyev at Windsor. Chord scored in workmanlike fashion at Wolverhampton last time and although he remains unexposed, he will need to improve significantly to get his head in front in this more competitive contest. John Dunlop's string are beginning to hit form so Mutadarrej could be capable of a good run at a big each-way price. A similar comment would apply to Yes Sir, but in an open finale we will side with Prince Sabaah to get his head in front.
