Bid For Fame (USA) Modest form since winning his maiden at Pontefract last year but the recent rain will not have really aided his cause and he may struggle in the closing stages.
Lord Eurolink (IRE) Grand servant to his owner/rider and can be relied upon to run his race here; the fact that all ground comes alike to him one to consider.
Castleshane (IRE) On a long losing run and looks to have a bit to find with Lord Eurolink after their recent meeting at Beverley.
So Precious (IRE) Won over Hurdles on good to soft at Fakenham last year, but her form on the flat this terms leaves her looking a little short of the mark at present.
Rutland Chantry (USA) Can be temperamental if he doesn't get his own way in front but a series of good efforts in similar events give him strong claims here. Softening of the ground should also play to his strengths.
Tarawan Good chance on the best of his form and has to be considered in this type of event. His strike rate however, does not the most inspiring reading
Dr Cool Likes to come late from a strong pace and is in fine form at present. He should make a bold bid to land the hat-trick.
Inchinnan Her only winning form is on heavy ground and she is not sure to confirm the form of her recent meeting with Rutland Chantry over this longer trip.
The Green Grey Not without a chance on the best of his form but he seems to reserve his best for the All Weather surface at Lingfield these days.
Belle d'Anjou (FR) Impressive winner at Chepstow last time, but she has a little to prove with regard to stamina over this trip.
Archon (IRE) Lightly raced gelding who should find this step up in trip more to his liking; having made a good impression in a Newton Abbot bumper on his debut in June. The market may be the best indicator to his chance here.
Leatherback (IRE) Reported to be heading for a career over hurdles in the near future and more of an indication to his stamina will become evident after racing. Best watched on this occasion.
Titian Angel (IRE) Still a maiden and looks to have a stiff task ahead of her today.
Porak (IRE) Has form with cut in the ground and his recent effort behind Dr Cool at Epsom was his best for sometime. However others look to have stronger claims in this competitive heat.
Redouble A little to prove after a lack-lustre effort last time and others preferred.
Marmaduke (IRE) Better known as a hurdler but won in good style at Windsor last month; stamina not in doubt but looks to have place claims at best.
Chaka Zulu Failed to really impress this term and is becoming expensive to follow, others preferred.
Desert Valentine Looks to have a bit to prove with a few of these on recent form and best is also watched best left alone here.
Classic Conkers (IRE) Not the most straightforward of performers and the balance of form leaves him with a little to prove.
Citrus Magic Hard to see him losing his maiden tag here.
