SHADY MCCOY is on a long losing run but has been placed in better races than this since last successful and, with Serena Brotherton in the saddle, can take advantage of a lenient mark having run well at Sandown on Wednesday. Normandy Barriere will be hoping to make it third-time lucky having already finished runner-up twice in this race under Joanna Mason. Lyndon B won at Leicester nine days ago and will be a danger if the visor works a second time while Redarna and Emma Sayer were only beaten a length off this mark at Chester earlier in the month. Despite a couple of wins at Epsom this month, Big Storm Coming still isn’t badly treated and can’t be left out of calculations.
Shady Mccoy (USA) 13-2 (9-12) In touch, ridden and unable to quicken 2f out, kept on towards finish, 4th of 6, 2 1/2l behind Moraawed (9-3) at Sandown 7f hcp (3) gd in Jul.
Normandy Barriere (IRE) 9-2 (9-6) In touch, headway over 2f out, chased leaders inside final furlong, never able to challenge (awarded 2nd), 3rd of 10, 2 1/2l behind Swindler (8-9) at Ascot 6f hcp (3) gf in Jul.
Big Storm Coming 11-4 (9-6) Tracked leading trio, closer on outside over 2f out, went 2nd 1f out, pushed into lead inside final furlong, ran on well, won at Epsom 7f hcp (4) gd in Jul beating Mamillius (9-8) by 1 1/2l, 6 ran.
Ower Fly 8-1 (9-9) Off the pace in 5th, ridden 2f out, weakened over 1f out, 6th of 8, 13 1/2l behind Musharrif (8-11) at Pontefract 6f hcp (3) gf in Jul.
Redarna 3-1fav (10-5) Held up in touch, ridden final furlong, kept on, 2nd of 12, 1l behind Salam Zayed (8-9) at Chester 1m hcp (4) gd in Jul.
Mister Music 20-1 (9-8) Slowly into stride, held up in rear, under pressure halfway, never dangerous, 8th of 11, 6l behind Star Shield (9-5) at Ascot 1m hcp (4) gf in Jul.

Fieldsman (USA) 4-1 (10-3) Always prominent, led over 1f out, stayed on well, won at Leicester 7f hcp (5) gs in Jun beating Leo Davinci (10-3) by 1/2l, 14 ran.
Lyndon B (IRE) 8-1 (9-4) Dwelt soon tracked leaders, not clear run 2f out, switched right over 1f out, headway to lead inside final furlong, quickened clear, won at Leicester 1m hcp (4) gf in Jul beating Silkstone (9-0) by 2l, 6 ran.
