Unforgetable Filly has struggled to replicate the form of last year’s success in the German 1000 Guineas but Clon Coulis won a Listed event at Pontefract last time. Both are conceding weight to the three-year-olds and Beshaayir should go well again having won a handicap on the straight mile here earlier in the month. But PREENING (NAP) was third to a couple of higher rated horses in a Listed race at Sandown last time and it’s James Fanshawe’s filly that gets the vote. Di Fede wasn’t far behind the selection and has to come into the reckoning while Shepherd Market has had a lay-off since returning to action back in May though went close in this grade last year.
