Grandera was impressive at Royal ascot, when pulling clear of, among others Nayef, but his best form is definitely over ten furlongs and is poor value over this trip. Sakhee and Golan have not been seen for some time, and the former's participation is still in doubt. Golan would have a fine chance on his best form, but he has a long absence to overcome and the market may be a good guide as to his best chance. Millenary is consistent but one-paced in this company and Nayef looks to be the best each-way option. He has been a shade disappointing on his last two starts, but came to himself at this time last year and looks certain to play a big part, with his stable having been making optimistic noises all week.
