WASEET is put forwards in a competitive renewal where Frozen Power and High Twelve are others with leading claims. Big Audio is one of the highest rated in the field and he holds Dubai Miracle and Dreamspeed on their running at Salisbury but he looks vulnerable at this level. Black Spirit was well backed last time and can be rated a little better than the bare form as the race didn't pan out for him and he should appreciate this longer trip. It appears that the stronger O'Brien candidates for this race have been kept at home although such is the yard's strength and record in this race that neither Joshua Tree nor Mikhail Glinka could be confidently dismissed. Vale Of York is the stable second string as he was when winning a Listed race at Goodwood where he had Timely Jazz behind but the yard does appear to have a stronger candidate in Frozen Power who took in a nursery before winning in Listed company at Deauville; a mile should be within his scope. High Twelve and Waseet caught the eye on their respective debuts and duly landed their maidens with the minimum of fuss at prohibitive odds. The former's connections expect him to make his mark at this level. The tentative suggestion is Waseet despite the modest winning time of his maiden but the form of his debut has worked out well enough (Timely Jazz was second) and he's a rare runner in this race for his experienced handler.
