A winner at Newmarket earlier, Repaupo struggled over a longer trip at York last time though today’s faster ground will suit. Haydock winner Strait Of Hormuz bids for a hat-trick raised 6lb while Risk Taker has an 11lb hike to contend with after scoring at the same track. Barossa Red also ran well at Haydock last time and Ajax Tavern was narrowly beaten at Doncaster but MARS LANDING may prove the one to side with. The latter caught the eye when runner-up at Newbury having been held up for a late challenge and Sir Michael Stoute’s charge can go one better in this.
