The shortest-priced winner in the last 10 renewals returned at 9/1. Mark Johnston has won the last two and relies on Enlace while Field Of Dream won this in 2012 off a 6lb lower mark. Richard Fahey runs four with Heaven's Guest and Rene Mathis preferred while Balty Boys finished ahead of several of these including SPECULATIVE BID when fourth in the Royal Hunt Cup over a mile here last month. But the latter had won the Victoria Cup over track and trip before that and is fancied to reverse running and go close again. Lincoln was runner-up in the Victoria Cup with Zarwaan further behind though the latter has won a decent handicap at Newcastle since and didn't look at home at Chester last time.
