Salutation's best form this year has been over longer trips and Elhaame may prove better suited by the drop back in distance given both of last year's wins came over 1m2f. This is more competitive than the race Charles Camoin won over track and trip when beating Double Discount a length and Presburg is preferred on his recent victory at Sandown. Hit The Jackpot now looks in the handicapper's grip after rattling up three early season victories but ZAIN EAGLE has leading claims off his current mark. He found only Farraaj too good in the John Smith's Cup at York last time and a 2lb rise may not prevent him picking up this by way of compensation.
