Verdict

Voix D'eau has a shout on an earlier placed effort in this grade at Stratford though never threatened at Aintree last time. Ballotin won at Wetherby before a coming up short on a trip over to France last month and faster ground would help his cause while Morning Reggie remains 6lb higher than when successful at Sandown back in March. Fortunate George is back on a winning mark if at his best but KILCREA VALE makes most appeal having won off higher marks last season including on his return to action at Ludlow in December and Nicky Henderson’s charge gets the nod.
