Verdict

CARRAIG MOR won a minor Irish point-to-point last December and didn't make his hurdling debut until three weeks ago over 2m5f at Uttoxeter. He quickly pulled himself to the front and despite a couple of novicey errors came home with his head in his chest and this looks his for the taking. By The Boardwalk looks as though he needs a thorough test of stamina which he may not get in a small field but Doing Fine, a winning point-to-pointer, is better than the bare form of his hurdling debut at Chepstow suggests as he made a bad blunder at the last and was eased. Tinker Time was thought good enough to contest a Grade 2 on his hurdling bow but was well beaten, as he was on heavy ground at Ffos Las a couple of weeks ago, while Charlie Mann's German recruit Attimo never got involved at Exeter after being impeded at the third last.
