Nas Na Riogh is likely to be at short odds for this uncompetitive looking novices' hurdle and is difficult to oppose. Nicky Henderson's filly lost no caste in defeat when finding just Spectroscope too good on her hurdling debut at Kempton and duly opened her account at Sandown Park next time. The daughter of King's Theatre can only improve further and gets the TEAMtalk vote. Mark Pitman's Briar won a poor contest to open his account at Folkestone and should find the opposition here more testing, while French import Lord Ville faces no easy task on his hurdles debut. Francois Doumen's Fils A Papa also makes his first appearance over hurdles and, considering his trainer's record with runner's in this country, has to be respected but the favourite will be tough to beat. Short Change and Injun look out of their depth.
