Godolphin run four in this. Saeed bin Suroor saddles three of them of which Haydock runner-up Live Your Dream looks the pick, but retained jockey William Buick partners the returning Al Nafir for Charlie Appleby. HMS President was runner-up to Max Mayhem in the Rosebery at Kempton and then won at Newmarket but this trip would be the absolute minimum. Nagano was last seen being beaten a head in a Group 3 at Goodwood but that was almost two years ago and stablemate AIMERIC may have stronger claims. Stall one could be an issue as he doesn’t always break smartly but the Doncaster winner will be finishing off strongly if James Doyle can plot a course up the home straight. Okita Soushi placed at this meeting last year but probably needs further nowadays and Stay Well remains high enough in the weights. Haunted Dream looks held on the form book but Teumessias Fox defied a hike in the ratings to score easily at Newmarket and has improved this year.
