Mark Johnston has landed this twice in the past decade and COLOUR VISION can do the business for the yard. The stable does well when pitching three-year-olds in against older horses in staying contests and he makes plenty of appeal off the bottom rung. He demolished his rivals last time over 1m6f and should relish the extra distance. However, Keys is a massive threat for Roger Charlton, whose plans to run the gelding in the Cheltenham Festival bumper were thwarted by injury. He showed tremendous potential last time when landing a Newbury handicap in a hack canter over this trip and has to go close. The rest look exposed but Mountain Hiker and Red Kestrel are admirably consistent and look next best.
