The Hills family often do well in this race and it was the turn of John to lift last year's renewal. The family have strong claims of landing the prize again with Charlie and Michael teaming up with Chester victor, Red Art. Chil The Kite won readily at Doncaster despite tending to hang to his right though that shouldn't be an issue here. Takeitfromalady gained compensation for a number of near misses when successful at Windsor and he should go well again but we will offer another chance to PRINCE ALZAIN. Gerard Butler's colt ran too badly to be true in the Britannia Stakes and having been tried against some high-class opposition in the past, his current handicap mark of 90 does not look harsh. My Queenie performed with credit over C&D behind Making Eyes and the handicapper has seen fit to raise her 3lb for her labours.
