In depth

Verdict

Ed Walker and Jamie Spencer teamed-up to win this with Agrotera last year and may have another well handicapped in the shape of dual novice winner Hotsy Totsy. But several of these have similar credentials including NONCHALANCE. The latter beat stablemate Whimbrel at Haydock before landing the odds with the minimum of fuss at Newmarket and is preferred of the John Gosden quartet. Subsequent winners filled the places behind Invitational when the latter won at Wolverhampton and she can figure while Magnetic Charm scored in Listed company at York last month and the Ballydoyle filly Coral Beach was a Group 3 winner last season and that pair are not out of this. Of those to have already won a handicap, Desirous made a winning return at Goodwood while Layaleena came out best at Nottingham but I'm Available was beaten here last time having also won at Nottingham earlier.
