Eight year olds have won five of the last eight renewals and six year olds the other three. Only three are from the preferred age groups this time with Bob Tucker, from last year's winning stable, preferred to Financial Climate and recent Market Rasen winner Sands Cove. Bob Tucker's yard also runs Loose Chips but Achille is more interesting having finished fourth in a Listed chase at Auteuil in June and making his debut for Venetia Williams. CAULFIELDS VENTURE has never won off a mark this high but looked back to his best when scoring at Exeter last month and could follow up if the visor works a second time. Arbeo may be the pick of the remainder receiving lumps of weight, though can be hard to catch right.
