Deacon Blues came good in this for James Fanshawe last year and SOCIETY ROCK has leading claims this time around if the ground rides no worse than soft. His latest victory in the Group 1 Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock could hardly have worked out any better with runner-up Gordon Lord Byron and sixth-placed Wizz Kid subsequently winning Group 1 events on Arc day at Longchamp. He's taken to confirm running with the latter and go in again. Irish raider Maarek has a shout on his defeat of Starspangledbanner at the Curragh last month and Group 2 7f winner Libranno won't be too inconvenienced by the drop back in trip, although today's going could prove a problem. Jimmy Styles popped up in a Group 3 race at Deauville last time and Frankie gets the leg-up today while the consistent Slade Power should run his usual game race.
