Verdict
Two unbeaten novices go head-to-head in this finale but SANTINI can preserve his 100 per cent record and see off the challenge of Leicester scorer Vinndication. Nicky Henderson’s charge has had the form of his Newbury win franked as the second has won twice since. Just A Sting has been placed in decent company at Exeter and Sandown and should be winning soon while Mere Ironmonger is one to note now tackling hurdles. Overworkdunderpaid looks to be improving with experience and the selection’s stablemate Champ had good form in bumpers last winter, though is jumping hurdles for the first time after almost a year on the sidelines.
