Verdict

Fistral Beach will be popular however he may be poor value and it could pay to side with PRESENTING FOREVER ahead of Run For Moor and Midnight Sail. The selection was third on his recent rules debut behind Bonikos at Huntingdon when he seemed to be out-speeded late on. This stiffer test will suit this former point-to-pointer who was bought by the Wylie's for 370,000 guineas and as a horse with a bright future, he looks a major player today. Fistral Beach caught a tartar as they say when chasing home Belcantista on his hurdling bow at Exeter. That horse has changed hands since and been backed for the Ladbroke on Saturday so the form looks solid and the first two were miles clear; he probably rates as the one to beat. Midnight Sail also sets a fair standard with two solid hurdles runs at Wincanton and Warwick. His bumper form also looks solid but he does need to improve his jumping towards the business end of his races. Crime Dont Pay, Emperor Concerto and Minella Theatre have all shown ability, whilst More The Merrier can only improve on his first start under rules at Wincanton. Run For Moor is interesting; he returns from a spell on the sidelines and the seven-year-old has evidently had his problems, however the yard are on song and they can get one ready after a break. At a price Project Gallery could sneak a place despite having a bit to find with Midnight Sail on their run behind Weird Al, but it is Presenting Forever who gets our vote.
