Eddiemaurice is a 10-year-old now and has never won off a mark this high. Leoncavallo goes on the shortlist, however, after a cracking run behind Soaring Glory in a Listed handicap here last month when Highway One O Two finished fifth. Garry Clermont looks held by the latter on the form book but a case can be made for the four-year-old Cabot Cliffs, who looked as good as ever when third at Chepstow. CAPTAIN MORGS (NAP) has only run over this trip once since making a winning debut over course and distance a little over a year ago but a recent third at Cheltenham has a solid look about it and he should get a strong pace to take aim at.
