In depth

Formwatch

Hatha Anna (IRE) Lightly-raced and has had his problems; however latest run suggested he is one to keep an eye on and looks a big danger.

Moon Solitaire (IRE) Highly consistent performer who is well up to contesting off this weight; may just be better at ten furlongs but still has chances here.

Akbar (IRE) Good win at Goodwood last time and should run a solid race but may be slightly too high in the weights.

Moselle Listed winner at York before disappointing last time; has plenty of ability but may struggle to get this longer distance.

Gallery God (FR) Better than ever on his reappearance last time and ran well here last here; capable of bold bid and looks the one to beat.

Westender (FR) Has plenty of ability but proved troublesome over hurdles and is not sure to get this trip.

Return (USA) Lightly-raced and trainer has been patient with him; open to plenty of improvement and could be racing off a decent mark; looks a live contender.

Blue Sugar (USA) Closely matched with Gallery God on last run and is running into good form; not certain to beat that rival today but likely to be thereabouts.

Lermontov (USA) Has proved disappointing and not certain to stay this distance; chance if trainer can revitalise him but that is a big if.

Maniatis Still open to plenty of improvement and is racing off a good mark; looks certain to be a leading contender.

Holy Orders (IRE) Successful over hurdles and on the Flat; is on the upgrade and will appreciate any overnight rain; one to consider but this a competitive race.

Father Juninho (IRE) Hold up horse who will need all the luck in running to get his head in front; has chances off this weight but may have to settle for a place.

Bonaguil (USA) Was in good heart last season and is slowly running into form; one to consider.

Hirapour (IRE) Disappointed for some time before winning much weaker race at Newmarket last time; will struggle in more competitive race today.

Cracow (IRE) Has put up excellent performances recently and should run well again today; however, likely to find one or two too good.

Solo Flight Hammered his rivals at Doncaster last time following close second at Chester; this is much tougher but is worth a try here.

Mutakarrim Irish raider who was in great form last season; decent reappearance last time and could be well in here; looks a big danger.

Takamaka Bay (IRE) Has won both starts this season including impressive victory at Leicester latest; stepping up in trip today and may find this stretch of stamina just too much.

Prize Winner Has only made four starts so far but has solid form against some top rivals; potentially thrown in off this mark and looks a main contender.

Jolly Sharp (USA) Looks stables second-string and unlikely to trouble the judge.
