A decent handicap here with Harry's Dream, Harris Bay, Lou Du Moulin Mas and King Barry the four short listed, and we take Harry's Dream to land what is a very good prize. The selection will not want to take as many chances with the Ascot fences as he did when dotting up at Kempton last time, but it was the quality of that run that marks him out here. Sure to have been schooled again since, he beat previous Ascot scorer See You Sometime with plenty in hand and as one who goes on quicker ground he can follow up. Lou Du Moulin Mas is a frustrating sort who is often placed but has just two wins from 26 starts to his name. He will have received a confidence boost with his recent Cheltenham hurdles success and is respected. Harris Bay has not raced on ground officially faster than good, but conditions may help this consistent gelding get home at a trip beyond that which he has been previously tried and he can get involved, while King Barry is interesting as a fast ground stayer who can looks unexposed and is a potential improver. But Harry's Dream sets the standard here and will be tough to beat.
