Beachfire is often slowly away and takes time to warm to his task but that may be no bad thing from his high draw and, off bottom weight, it would be no surprise to see him involved in the finish. Forte Del Marmi is at the opposite end of the handicap but is another with decent claims back in handicap company, though again drawn wide. Green Destiny was withdrawn from the Royal Hunt Cup on Wednesday but could go close in this if allowed to take his chance though more interesting is stablemate SHAMALI. He faced a stiff task trying to concede weight all round in a Listed race over 1m4f here last month but still finished ahead of World Heritage. The six-year-old has won both starts over this C&D and, well drawn and with the assistance of Ryan Moore, can go in again. Lost In The Moment bounced back to form when second at Chester and may be best of the rest, though Spanish Duke beat Resurge at Epsom and is better than he showed at Goodwood. He is one of those that will appreciate recent rain.
