Jamie Osborne makes a bold call to race Balty Boys off a welter-burden of 10st 5lb but having taken some time to rediscover the winning habit, its no surprise to see the four-year-old turned out again quickly after his Epsom success. Labienus has been in fine form on the Polytrack and is worthy of respect but BENONI is taken to secure the prize off his light weight. Henry Candy is no stranger to getting the best out of his sprinters and though he disappointed at Newmarket last month, the three-year-old was a ready winner at Sandown on his previous start. Tidentime accounted for a useful sort at Lingfield over 6f and the form of that race has worked out well. Forceful Appeal is yet to win on eight starts on Turf though he ran far better than his odds may have suggested at Newmarket and Paul Hanagan continues in the saddle.
