Exiled Aussie Jeremy Gask would be forgiven for having half an eye on matters at Trent Bridge but he has often targeted Ascot sprints and has two obvious chances in this contest. Gabbiano is likely to be popular having won here in May, while Crew Cut is far better than his no-show at Epsom suggests and will relish the quick going. AL KHAN has been hugely consistent this season and having failed by a neck at Haydock Park, Violet Jordan's charge can go one better off the same mark. Piazza San Pietro has dropped significantly in the weights and any market interest should be noted. Chunky Diamond scored recently at Haydock off a mark of 71 for Ruth Carr. While scheduled to appear at Doncaster yesterday, he appears exceptionally well treated on the pick of his form for Peter Chapple-Hyam and has to be respected if turning up here.
