Verdict

Alphabetical goes for the four-timer but steps up in grade again off a 6lb higher mark. Stag Horn showed improvement for the step up in trip at Goodwood and looks a stayer but Sly Minx was enterprisingly ridden to land the odds at Catterick and faces better opposition here. GRAIN OF SENSE is surely better than he showed at Doncaster. He gets blinkers here and deserves another chance.
