In depth

Verdict

Intrigo has been in good form this year and Richard Hughes prefers him to the returning Tobacco Road. Gworn was progressive last year while George Cinq wasn't disgraced at Yarmouth 10 days ago and will strip fitter today. Rottingdean is another who will have benefited from a recent run while Red To Amber dead-heated at Kempton in February, though has been beaten since. AJMANY was beaten less than a length over this trip at Doncaster in the autumn having won over 7f at Newmarket earlier. He looks the type to hold his own in decent company this season and can defy top weight on his return to action, though it's a little worrying to see the blinkers applied here. King Of The Danes was second at Musselburgh last week but looks held by some of these on the form book.
