Verdict

Flushed with success from this week’s Chester Cup victory, leading jumps trainer Nicky Henderson runs smart hurdler Sign Of A Victory who won his only start on the Flat so far when landing a maiden at Wolverhampton. Dual course and distance winner Duretto returns to action and should go well along with Barwick, a close-up third here in August and a winner at Epsom on his recent reappearance. Perestroika is another with form at the track and Hector Crouch’s 5lb allowance is in his favour today but King Bolete has a bit to prove off his current mark. A winner at Longchamp when trained in France last year, CAYIRLI is still something of an unknown quantity. But he ran well enough in a higher grade at Kempton on his debut for Seamus Durack and may yet turn out to be well handicapped.
