The veteran Raising Sand popped-up in this classified race last year but hasn’t raced since May. Florida landed a handicap at York last month but DAYSOFOURLIVES dead-heated for first in a tougher handicap over course and distance on only his second outing of the season and there looks more to come from Marco Botti’s charge. Jeff Koons went close over a longer trip at the track recently and Sweet Reward has won twice over 1m2f this year but Hickory is preferred racing over this far for the first time having placed in decent 7f races here.
