Kevin Ryan won this with 33/1 chance Advanced in 2009 but CAPTAIN RAMIUS won't be anything like that price after his Ayr Gold Cup success. Well suited by plenty of give and raised 9lb by the assessor, he's well in here with a 6lb penalty and is taken to follow up. Regal Parade, runner-up at Ayr, looks held but sixth-placed Brae Hill will be better suited by the extra furlong and can go close. The lightly-raced Skilful has been competing with distinction in Listed company so he should be in the shake-up and Irish raider Jamesie looks well enough treated to make his presence felt. Imperial Guest and Field Of Dream weren't far behind Don't Call Me on fast ground over the C&D a month ago and all three can get involved with Field Of Dream looking a fair each-way bet at a big price on ground that should suit.
