Verdict

DATHANNA won twice at Newmarket last August and bolted up on her reappearance in a conditions stakes. As she has come on in leaps and bounds since fitted with a hood, it seems a strange decision to leave the headgear off today but the Godolphin filly should still be good enough to give weight to her three rivals. Red Starlight won a novice event on soft going at Newbury last year but the form hasn’t been franked and Golden Iris was the outsider of the party when beating three rivals at Lingfield on debut. Agrotera was very green at Newmarket in November, however, and is open to plenty of improvement.
