The market is a good guide as the biggest priced winner in recent years was 4/1. In his four seasons to race, PASTORAL PLAYER has won twice and run very well on the other two occasions. He's tackling this trip for only the second time but was beaten a neck over this track and trip in a Group 2 last July and that would be good enough. Stipulate has the advantage of a recent run having finished runner-up to Mull Of Killough in a Group 3 at Newmarket when Boom And Bust wasn't far behind. He's tough and consistent so looks certain to get into the mix as does Sovereign Debt, who will enjoy the cut in the ground though he was behind Don't Call Me on his reappearance at Doncaster. Fencing should do well this season after performing at a very high level last year and he may prove the main threat.
