Fiulin went off much too quickly at Cheltenham last time and paid the price. He's still to prove he stays this far, as does Joseph Lister, while Kasbadali and Tarvini may be in the handicapper's grip now. Imperial Circus can build on his second at Newbury, however, though SOUTH OF'THE BORDER was an eye-catching fifth in that contest and could turn the form on its head here in first time blinkers. Nigel Twiston-Davies' 10-year-old hasn't visited the winner's enclosure since 2009 but likes this quicker ground and can end his long wait for a victory. Phare Isle was only beaten a neck by Vintage Star at Market Rasen last month and looks the pick of the remainder.
