Verdict

HANDAZAN was a bit novicey when runner-up to Far West at Chepstow but will know more here and can recoup losses at the main expense of For Two trained, like Far West, by Paul Nicholls. The latter has already won over hurdles, at Auteuil in March, but has a penalty to carry here. Counsel won over 1m2f on the Polytrack in June for Sir Michael Stoute and should thrive under Donald McCain while John Quinn also does well with his juvenile hurdlers and Moidore comes here off the back of a win over 1m5f at Hamilton so should be ready for this.
