Sykes is lightly raced and was well backed on his reappearance at Newton Abbot. He only found one too good, though is 4lb higher here and also upped in grade. COWSLIP rattled up a hat-trick in the spring and was far from disgraced back over hurdles at Hexham earlier this month. George Moore's mare was placed here in May and June and can get back to winning ways.
