Verdict

The market will likely be the best guide to this mares’ bumper but penalised previous winners Solway Molly, Good Look Charm and Lady Excalibur all have claims again. MISS CHANTELLE is out of a mare that won bumpers but she was all at sea around Fakenham’s bends on debut - she will have come on a bundle for the experience. Pepite Fleurie pulled too hard when second at Kelso and will need to settle better but May’s Southwell third Ma Belle Noire is a likely improver and Switch Partner showed promise at Market Rasen last month. Blue Suede Shoes and Sorceress Medea might be the pick of the newcomers.
