Huntingdon winner Rendari struggled off his new mark in Mondeed's race at Fakenham, in which Burning Shore finished a creditable third, and the last mentioned gets the vote to win here with River Mist rated the main danger. The selection followed that Fakenham effort with another respectable outing at the East Anglian venue and is one of a very few of these to come into this in any sort of form. River Mist has been running well, without winning, in novice contests and may do better now that he is handicapped. Top weight Weston Rock faces no easy task under the burden of 11st 12lb while at the other end of the weights Mister Club Royal makes limited appeal back over hurdles and Len Lungo's Inn From The Cold is 3lbs wrong. Stanway would have claims if able to reproduce the best of his bumper form but Burning Shore makes most appeal of a poor bunch, by the tracks standards, and gets the vote.
