Verdict

King Revo was never travelling in the Jewson at Cheltenham last month and is hard to recommend on that evidence with a safer bet looking to be that race's winner L'Antartique, who is taken to confirm festival form with Bob Hall. The last mentioned has just a 3lb pull with the selection on Cheltenham form but that should not be enough to see him reverse the form over a trip that is likely to enhance the claims of L'Antartique. Chief Yeoman looked beaten when falling behind the selection at Cheltenham, while Private Be has yet to prove his effectiveness over this far. Similar comments apply to the lightly raced Ofarel D'airy, while stablemate Bold Fire is better than he has shown of late and has to be considered. L'Antartique was good value for his Cheltenham win though and he is taken to follow up here.
