Verdict

This is likely to be fast and furious as several of these are confirmed front-runners. The Last Day pounced late 12 months ago to catch Dancing On My Own and is actually a pound better off with the runner-up. Global Citizen led for a long way in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham and kept on to finish third, a place ahead THIRD TIME LUCKI. But the top weight did not enjoy much luck in-running that day and could gain compensation here. Haydock winner Grey Diamond should go well again and Hasankey looks to be back on song. He was just beaten by Mackenberg at Ayr back in October with Douglas Talking and Pay The Piper well behind. The latter pair have made the greater strides since, however, and both are shortlist material again today.
