In depth

Verdict

Giovinco was still prominent and had every chance when stumbling and unseated his rider three out on his chasing bow at Carlisle. A useful hurdler last season, he’ll be fancied to gain compensation and his presence in this means that three of his rivals will be carrying overweight. TIGER ORCHID will be racing off his correct mark, however, and it was soft ground when he won at Warwick two runs ago. He was keeping on over a shorter trip at Stratford last time. Universal Folly is chasing a four-timer and My Bobby Dazzler won at Worcester in June but Lord Of Kerak has become hard to place.
