Gavin Sheehan gave Cole Harden a superb ride to land the World Hurdle at Cheltenham, where he stayed on strongly to hold off Saphir Du Rheu with Whisper weakening from the last to finish fifth, just ahead of Un Temps Pour Tout. Jetson and Blue Fashion were even further behind. That was a bit of a surprise as he'd earlier finished only fourth behind Saphir De Rheu and Un Temps Pour Tout, though was better off at the weights. ZARKANDAR was only third in the World Hurdle but could be considered unlucky as he held every chance and appeared to be going as well as anything when almost coming down two out. He rallied up the hill and can reverse running with Cole Harden today. Henryville should confirm Pertemps Final form with Brother Brian but neither of that pair look good enough and Crack Away Jack has never fulfilled early potential.
