Martin Pipe may hold the key to the weights as three of his runners head the list at the overnight stage. With possibly Celtic Son edging preference over Fontenasei if he makes a quick reappearance. However, preference goes to Manorson, who is fancied to bounce back from his Cheltenham experience today. Billyvoddan and The Market Man are others that can also go well and are worth monitoring in the betting. The former is a tough customer that should be suited to this course. However, he does need to find improvement and has more on his plate today. The Market Man is lightly traced and has already paid his way this term. Still his yard have not had the best of records at this track in recent times and other may have his measure. Celtic Son is a most progressive individual that takes his racing well (when he is allowed). He looks more reliable than Tamarinbleau and Fontenasei. However, time may tell that Manorson was far from disgraced in finishing ninth behind Akshar in the supreme Novices and, considering that the likes of Marcel and My Way De Solzen were in behind him on that occasion he does not have much to find to recapture winning ways in this company.
