Hometown Hero has won between the flags and has had wind surgery since disappointing on his final start over hurdles. Bowtogreatness was biting off more than he could chew in a Grade 1 at Aintree in April but has been lightly raced as has Monbeg Genius, another with form in points. Doctor Ken proved to be a tough novice over timber but we prefer the claims of REE OKKA. He’s placed around here over hurdles and a win over this trip at Chepstow last December has worked out well. The switch to fences shouldn’t be a problem given his point-to-point background.
